About
BEASTS is the solo project of Ed East, guitarist and songwriter from British Electro-Rock band CHIKINKI.
Ed has been a recording artist for over 10 years. With Chikinki he signed to Universal/Island Records in London in 2002. Along the way he has honed his trade, working with such great producers as Steve Osborne, Alan Mulder and Alex silva, as well as putting record out with the famous Berlin underground label Kitty-Yo.
Since 2007 Ed has run a recording studio in East Berlin, producing his own solo output, alongside albums for The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Chikinki, Eight Legs, The Tunics and many more up and coming alternative artists.
BEASTS is the culmination of many years of writing, demoing and recording. Watch this space, as the time has come to release the beast.
