The Beast of Legend rose to the sounds of Drum Funk in 2006. The atttention shifting from dance-floor smashing to intricate drum loops and bringing atmosphere was a welcome development to him. Hearing the sounds that lured him into drum & bass back in '97, he felt the need to express himself.
Though already a proficient and experienced DJ, it was a shift from the pummeling and soul-scorching, tear-out kind of drum & bass he normally presented to people brave enough to face the graveyard shifts he worked. As a matter of balancing things out, he started working under this moniker in order to bring deeper and more musically focused sets.

This very much reminds me of the hidden agenda tunes from the mid 90's
This has something of a nostalgic sound to it. Like those old laid back jungle tunes, though pads 'n stuff are much warmer and the tracks seems far more intricate. Brilliant!
