My name is Nick and I am a graphic artist, blogger, and electronic music fan based out of Boston. Personally enjoy all different types of dance music, including house, drum and bass, garage, UK funky, baltimore club, the list goes on!
I dj under two different aliases: Effective Resolution for house and minimal oriented stuff, and Nickdawg for drum & bass, garage, and mash-up. Also produce a bit on the side but am still learning the ropes.
In my spare time I run the site www.beantownboogiedown.com, a Boston-based blog that includes write-ups on tons of different subjects relating to dance music as well as my photography and design work. New content is added to it daily, check it out if you have a chance!
@Malý Pavuk: so true. Keeping up with fans/followers can be overwhelming especially with all the different social media platforms that are out there today. I think nowadays it's best to engage with followers on the most popular platforms, but continue to aggregate posts across the other mediums as well. For example with my photography, I focus on Instagram because it's huge right now, but continue to post pics on flickr and path, even though they're not nearly as prominent.

So I was digitizing/archiving some of my old vinyl the other day and after passing through this record (which I've had for probably 12 years now) realized Frank was up on this for the first time. Pleasant surprise! All four tracks on this 12" had a nice blunted trip-hop feel.

damn, I forgot all about Fly Away...Friction and Andy C used to play that one heavily back in 2005-06. Glad Dillinja finally released it!
