Having been brought up in a musical household, BEANS was originally set on the path of Classical Percussionist learning percussion from the head percussionist of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra when he was only 8 years old.
The first foray into electronic music for BEANS was way back in '97 when he was only 9 years old. A friend gave him two CD's, one was happy hardcore, the other was The Prodigy's 'the Fat of the Land'.
Fortunately the Prodigy album resonated alot more with Beans and a new love was found. UK Bass Music.
Since then BEANS has completed a Diploma in Music Tech and picked up a couple of new instruments, the Synthersizer and the Decks.

2011 has been a big year for BEANS. Going from Bedroom Banger to playing at one of Sydney's Biggest festivals, Defqon.
Touted by Void/Index as One to watch for 2011, BEANS brings an unrelenting attitude of quick mixes and tight blends.
Mixing at a rate of no less than 30 tracks per hour gives BEANS the platform to venture out into a variety of styles while still keeping them all linked by one constant theme, BIG BASS!
