Ascending through verdant vales the horde come tumbling down
In grief for a promised joy sullen ghosts besiege with reluctance
Haunting dreams among dark secrets

Some disquiet backward steps with a sinful sound
Might once more reach the gazing soul, so much needed
Celebrate those weaker glories heedless hearts pensive and reclined
Emerging from the landscape shrill winds help scarce tears found the way out

The foe would tread beneath the blast with a lantern dimly burning forbidden hopes
While innumerable foresight may be vain
