BBP Recordings is back in the front row of the rapid growing Ghetto Funk Scene with a cutting edge EP by upcoming French producer Morlack, who has teamed up with nufunk veteran BadboE to give everyone the Ghetto Vaccination! Get ready for an injection of raw dub bass and banging beats mixed with lots of oldskool funk.

For last 15 years Morlack was into different electronic music styles and played in almost every European country as well Australia. Since 2009 when he heard NuFunk for the first time and decided to go back to his musical roots. Being collecting, listening and playing funk since age of 8, he knew from then that he has found his home in the Funky Breaks scene.

It took some 1,5 years to polish his skills and the result was a bombastic debut release on Boogie Boutique in march 2011, which went directly to number 1 on the Juno breakbeat chart.

The next evolution step for Morlack is the Ghetto Vaccination EP on BBP Recordings, which is surely gonna blow many heads in ghetto funk scene - prepare yourself!

    A. Morlack kicks off the EP with a redo of a classic old funk track, which was inspired by BadboE’s What Is Hip track which was released on Good Groove Records in 2009. Mixed and mashed up to perfection Morlack lays some heavy funky grooves on us on the original cut of Ghetto Vaccination.

    B. BadboE picks up the funky grooves and slams on some banging beats and some serious ghetto bass. By keeping it real to the original funk track, this remixes gives something for both the funk heads and modern clubbers: Ghetto Vaccination-style!

    C. The ghetto vaccine doesn’t stop here. Morlack is determent to give us the full groovy treatment. Electrophonic Mind is state-of-the-art party breaks with a heavy duty bassline and smooth funky vocal cuts.

    D. Last but not least Morlack brings it Nice and Rough as the final part of the Ghetto Vaccination. This is the antidote for sitting still – bassdriven bassline, funky steady beats and some serious funky grooves. You are now ready to party!
