Israelis and Palestinians are round the negotiating table again for peace talks for the first time in three years. As for actually reaching some sort of agreement, that will be much more difficult. And someone who knows just how hard it will be is Shimon Peres.

The Israeli President celebrates his 90th birthday today, which makes him the world's oldest head of state . He played a key role behind the scenes , helping to bring both sides to the negotiating table. He's been speaking to the BBC's Lyse Doucet. She asked him first if he thought the chances for peace were better or worse than before…
