Homosexuality is illegal in Nigeria but now legislators are debating a bill that would go further and sentence couples in same-sex relationships to 14 years in jail. Activists say its consequences could also affect health service providers. The bill has already been approved by the country's highest chamber, and will now be debated in the lower chamber.
