Hercule Poirot, Agatha Christie's dapper Belgian detective, he of the little grey cells and the waxed moustache, has solved his final case. As well as the books, Poirot has been portrayed on radio and on screen. Actor David Suchet made his final appearance in the role on Thursday after 25 years in a TV series of all the Poirot stories. "Hercule Poirot" reflected on his long, illustrious career to the BBC's James Naughtie.
