It was only destiny that BBass would end up doing music. It began in choir (4 or 5 of them to be exact), moved onto flute, eventually to drums, and later to piano.
Production happened by accident. One day while observing his brother toying around with Fruityloops, BBass got curious and started messing around with sequencing himself. Little did he know this fun pastime would become a hobby in high school and later on, a career.
Anyone who begins creating beats with full video game or movie scores in mind is destined for greatness. Early in his discovery of sequencing programs, BBass would create compositions to accompany exciting concepts in his head. The only problem was once he was introduced to the beat game, he had to hone the craft of creating a full compostion that was empty enough for a songwriter.
Using his skills as a singer, BBasstheillest started writing his own songs. The eventual culmination of those talents turned into a project called "theSOCOLD ep," which was set to be released Summer 2010. Unfortunately, due to several studio dates and the production schedule falling through, the project was discontinued.
But the songs were NOT completely scrapped. BBass used Summer 2011 to build connections, work even harder on production, and create an even more unique songwriting style. Success came about when he released "No Good" featuring Bizzness of LASLAF. The team recieved positive feedback throughout their respective hometowns and even from a few on the internet.
Using this triumph as a stepping stone, "Heartstrings Swing n Better Things" was finally released. This is BBasstheillest's ultimate testament to the world not only as a producer, but as a true artist and a human being with a lot to say on many levels.
Currently, BBasstheillest is working with heavyweight and self-made lyrical genius Napoleon da Legend (@napoleondaleg), Queens bred phenom Stil.One and the Stil.Movement team (Soundcloud: Stil.One), and brother/production partner Bizzness of Laslaf. Look out for LASLAF and Stil.Movement's projects in the near future!
