Is an innovator project that I am to put together the geniality of Brazilian
music and the Latin jazz with electronic elements, beats and grooves created with an unusual and futuristic taste, making an alliance between the past and the future. The result of this dream is a musical revolution of technology that keep the origin and the beauty of Brazilian
music.
The structure is also a piece of news in the World Music. It is composed
of “cavaquinho” (an instrument originated in Portugal and also very used in Hawaii –ukulele - that was brought to Brazil in the end of 17th century and is an elemental piece in samba and choro) and the rich sound and ambiance of DJ Mauricio Lage.
The cavaquinho is played by João Felippe Ramos. He was born in Petrópolis/RJ and
initiated his carrier with 6 years old. Wiith 11 years old has appeared in many TV shows. He was awarded as the youngest player of the State of Rio de Janeiro by the OMB (Musicians Order of Brazil. Later, appeared beside big names of Brazilian music as Victor Biglione, Claudio
Dauelsberg, Yamandu Costa and in 2001 received the award for Revelation in the Arts by the Society Petropolitana in Quitandinha Hotel. In 2007 received from the Academy of Arts/
Petrópolis the award for the best instrumental triplet “Encontro de Cordas”. In 2011 made ​ his first international tour in Italy at the" Storie di Jazz/ Live Porsche Festival”.
DJ Mauricio Lage is a DJ and music producer from Rio de Janeiro, who started his career in 2002. Throughout his career, he studied at the Institute of Audio and Video /IAV in Sao Paulo and graduated in Recording and Production Techniques in 2007. With eight years of his career, his productions provide quality music and emotion to his followers. His influences
are very diverse: Deep House, Minimal and Techno to Jazz, Funk and Groove with a subtlety that gives a lot of personality to his work. Nowadays, his tracks have been released by labels Flow Mexico Records, Putz Records Anarkick, 11HZ, Diamond Clash, Miami Underground Records and Quebra Coco Media which proves that his
talent deserves to be recognized as one of the great revelations of the electronic scene.
