What's up, Soundcloud?

As a kid, I heard house music on the radio and at skating rinks. It sucked and made me think all "techno" music sucked, steering my musical preference to jam. During college in the early 2000's, I had a DJ roommate [big ups Brian Christopher] who introduced me to good tech-house and breakbeat, and I got a little experience on his vinyl turntables. This introduction to good EDM sparked both a passion and a mission, though I did not know it at the time.

For years following, I listened to tons of breaks, house and some dnb. At some point, I found myself looking for something dirty or grimy or something I couldn't describe at the time, but some dnb had something close. Enter dubstep, the genre I spent almost a decade looking for.

Post dubstep introduction a few years back, I have been thinking a lot about producing and DJing, having had minor previous experience with both. The problem: serious lack of free time. Between starting an engineering firm while working an almost full time job and converting cars to electric and things like that, there just isn't much music production time. But I'm a visionary with a big filthy music idea/dream, so I'm going to try to make it happen.
