Bassart | Bassart3000 aka Sebastian Schmidgen

1994 when he was 12 years young Sebastian had his first contact with electronic music and started to buy his first records.
2 Years later he played his first sets at the MusikFabrik Pirna and some illegal events around his hometown in Germany known as Bastard. Since 1999 he started working on a computer using musicsoftware like Propellerheads Rebirth338 or Native Instruments Reaktor.
2001 Bassart had his first experiences as Digital-Dj using the Traktor DJ-Software and Ableton Live.
He founded the Record-Art-Germany Crew with the purpose to produce own records in 2002. But caused by many discrepancy they never did.
Somehow he came to Austria in the end of 2005. 2008 - still working as Digital-Dj he played at Billardclub Wörgl/MTM Münster/Yunit Schwaz/Moonclub.
2009 Bassart went back to his roots and is a complete vinyl-junkie again and became part of the KONZEPT Crew Zillertal.
in 2012 he twisted again his priorities - took traktor with timecode and the maschine controller. he started to also as resident dj at the y-club!
