October 2010: 'Bass Alchemists' were born, The Bass Alchemists are Quint Sixx and Lopht

The duo is comprised of electronic music producer/DJs Alex Kaplan, and Cameron Merrick. Alex - originally from London, is now living in Boston trying to bring more love for bass heavy music across the Atlantic! He has been immersed in the bass music scene all over the world including Hong Kong, London, California, and the North East. Over the last few years, Cameron has played an array of events around Denver, including notorious Beta Nightclub (#1 in US) alongside an array of legendary West Coast producers such as DJ Fei Fei, Paul Anthony, Str8house, Booklyn Bounce and more. After the two met, the 'Bass Alchemists' were born - playing alongside the world premier dubstep and electro acts in existence for the past year and a half. They have also released a collection of original works, as well as official remixes into the dance music community. With their first single to drop on Beatport out of the way, their first full EP release is set for early March.

Now, with the help of Base Bookings, Bass Alchemists plan to deliver more heavy basslines throughout Boston and the rest of the US...
