JoeL was born in the windy city and raised in the burbs of Skokie. At age 14, became inspired by a young engineer/song writer named Armando (family friend and mentor). He showed him the basics and from there onJoeL interest in music as grown ever since. Joel main focus has been, is, and always will be Hip Hop, but his genre interest varies from time to time. He currently composes, produce, and write music. Having his own studio set up, he's also in the process of gaining knowledge in the Science and art of Audio Engineering.
