With the preference of jazzrock, funk, soul, hiphop and rock, Satiesh Mathoera started in 1998 with his new project: Baseheadz. After having gained experience as a bassplayer, the calling to get more out of his bass became enormous. Bass players, like Stanley Clarke, Jaco Pastorius, Mark King and Les Claypool were of big influence.
