Featuring the beautiful, rich, lyrical voice of Catherine Estrade.
Catherine also played and arranged the virtual instruments on the track.
You can hear her own poetry and wonderful music here:

I'm on guitars, words and production.

This piece wouldn't have happened without Serge Gentil's Hyper Lego Blues, which my guitar was originally a backing track for (one of a few versions). Serge is playing piano and double bass on here.
You can listen to the other versions of Hyper Lego Blues either here on my page or on Serge's pages:

And then there's the marvellous percussion of Vasco Morais, probably the most prolific and adventurous drummer here on Soundcloud.
Here are two of his many pages.

Please give them all a listen and a follow.

Here's my poem.

Perhaps you're not a fallen angel after all.
It was the wings that threw me.
You're the girl
Like Icarus.
I'll catch you when you fall.
Over and over and over.

And you're not a butterfly after all
(It was the wings that threw me),
But a moth,
Singed by the flame that drew you,
Over and over and over.

You're not a 'typical' girl after all.
Burned your words right through me.
That's the butterfly - those words that enfold you.
But brushed the dust that held together your wings,
Those heavy hands too indelicate to hold you
As gently as I.
That forbade you to fly.

Your thoughts,
Unlike anyone else's.
After all, it was your mind that blew me.
They flee from the ice world below you
Right back up to the sun.
A trillion tiny lights
Too bright
That they can only pop
Like bulbs in a torch
And drop
Like embers
Back to the earth that you had already scorched.

And no one remembers
Lest I catch them all
And collect them together again
Until you learn to let the sun warm you,
Not burn you
Over and over and over.
