Barrios was born in March 1985 BELGIUM.He bought his first turn table with 18 years.
At this time his music style was more based on the Techno, Hard Techno (style which was frequently used beginning in the year 2000). A few years later BOBBY DICK (which was his DJ name at that time) began to listen a new music style “The Electro” played by DJ’s like Boys Noize, Digitalism, Bloody Beetroot any many more.
during this period he began to mix at a lot of events. He performed in places like “Bar Manhattan (Virton), One up ( wih DJ’s like Valli Biscotto), Bodylektro, HDLA, Couz, Switch on the Sound, The Gambeboys….
In the year 2010 he performed at the Festival in Marbehan (Belgium) named “ A NIGHT WITH ELECTIK GUYS” as warm up for big Artists like Leonard de Leonard, Masched Paper, DJ Slump…and not to forget the events in the Riders Park (Messancy/Belgium) organized by Planète J. He performed also in the Bar 180 (Arlon /Belgium) and in the bar Beckleck (Luxembourg) where Marcio C, the member of the group PORN FUNKERZ was playing too.
By the end of 2010 he discovered his passion for the House and Tech house music and began to use the program Traktor, thanks to the members of the Twin’s Format group (GREGOR HEAT AND CHRIS ALLEN). He played in a few events like CAVE PARTY, BEACH PARTY and 100% HOUSE, besides to the Twin’s Format group.
In 2011 , everything happens fast, with the creation of the Label “MINDS RECORDS” under which Bobby Dick singed. By joining the Label he decided to change his artist name into BARRIOS, a name who is corresponding more to the music style he is performing, the tech house.He plays often in Luxembourg City in the Bar named “Sins City” with the other members of the label Minds Records.
Barrios is now starting to compose his first own music tracks, thanks to the support of Gregor Heat. They composed their first track named “Kalindo”.
In the next months Barrios will release his first EP under the label Minds Records.
