Castles in the Sky Live from a BBC session: I arranged, produced, and played on the World's first non-stop two hour live acoustic radio session - one of the last live shows at what was the BBC's iconic Pebble Mill in Birmingham England, (before they knocked it down) for the BBC Radio's Ben Turner.. with members of the Jamplant. (Stu Jones, Joe Gallagher, Mark Flaherty, Pat Evans Jim Nevo and Matt Taylor)
Here's the blurb: The Munificent Seven ride again... !
(this is the story of seven brothers, we had the same father but different mothers...)
Barrie V Joe Gallagher Mark Flaherty Stu Jones
Matt Taylor Jim Netherington and Pat E - sauntered into BirminghamTown..
and like the true song-slinging wild west heroes they is..
played the two-hour non-stop, live acoustic session, Jamplant special for the BBC (a world first!)
- regardless of a dearth of mics, no earphones, no foldback.. etc blah..
the Radio equivalent of being at the wrong end of the the Ok-Corral at sun-up...
But, with cool aplomb, the boys kept their heads and delivered as
fine a set of songs as you'll hear anywhere, wry smiles akimbo,
a fine sense of fun & mucho camaraderie to boot..
today Pebble Mill.. tomorrow... World Unification... ~ yeah we know,
everyone always says 'domination' ~ it's just so passé dahlings ~ Golden days..
