Barcelona Bakalao is a multicultural improvisation rave project, started by Diego García (former vintage synthpop performer), Dimitry Ghost (8bit/electro DJ from Moscow) and Owen Meyers (experimental electronica from Canada). The group serves as a platform for improvised dance music. Inspired by 90s raves, 80s acid house, 70s electronics, synthpunk, eurodance, etc. as well as absurdist ideas of dada-rave music. Artists perform on various analog synthesizers, casios and the innovative Tenori-on.

Live equipment: Korg MS-20, Korg MS-10, Roland SH-101, x0xbox, theremins, korg Tape Stage echo, Tenori-on, Gakken SX-150, Jomox xbase09, Roland tr-626, Casio SA-5, etc.
