I had the pleasure to open for Comfort Fit this weekend in Berlin at the lovely Panke. The soundsystem there is fantastic. Warm and dry, great bass. Slowly I got used to play with the Vestax 300, still missing some things I was used to, while DJing with vinyl.
I love to open a night. The room is empty and it is totally in my hand to fill it with beats. Slowly, not pushing. There is a lot of room for nearly everything, every genre - every beatstructure and slowly you build up something people can dance to. Individually for every night, depending on the people, the room and the soundsystem. Yup, thats what I love.
