Bara Bröst

Born in Germany and after spending some class time in London and Berlin, we hooked up in Neukolln / Berlin and founded Bara Bröst (Swedish for „bare breasts“, also a neo-feminist organization, fighting for women’s rights to go topless in spas) to give a creative output to our love for techno.

We look back to years of experience as DJ’s – qunique derives from the breaks genre (everslick), opescure from the drum&bass camp (proton).

For years, we have been enthusiastic for techno and independently produced tunes in London and Berlin. After we crossed paths in Berlin, we teamed up to engage in our shared vision in terms of tone colour and groove indulgence.

We would like to think of our tunes as a symbiosis of techno and tech-house. Enjoyably, we combine our influences from London and Berlin to a common ground. Throughout our music, we tend to use similar instruments, preferably use self-produced vocals, try to maintain a dry atmosphere and break through the red line in our tracks with unexpected elements.
