We are dj’s called the Banging Heads and we play records for you to get into dirty dancing.
We are Mathia and Stijn Geeraets, not only sharing the decks, but also sharing our mother and father.
As from our embryonic fase we both started banging our heads the moment we heard some kind of rythm in some kind of sound wave, especially when it was Angus Young playing his guitar. Through the years we got involved in the most diverse styles. We were born in the 80's, smelled like teens in the 90's, left the green green grass of home in the 00's, and took our parents classic records with us.
Today we live our lives as the Travolta's of disco, the bastards of pop, the cruisaders of rock and the artificial intelligence of electro. We believe that deejaying is all about creating something new and unexpected, but always with the greatest respect to the original sounds. We are musical omnivores selecting only the best ‘good & bad taste’ music. It can be a song carrying a great history with it, enjoying infinite fame or it can be one of those fresh and tasty songs you should have heard at least once in a lifetime. Either way you 'll get an eclectic fusion of feel good sounds embraced with a sense of avant-garde and influences of disco, funk, new beat, house, elektro, rock and pop.
