Like many producer and DJ's, Marc van den Hurk aka Kamansi started, together with a friend a disco show on the road, playing at small and large partys with a box full vinyl and cd's. From the late 80's until the early 90s he starred at many parties in the Netherlands
Marc progressed further in his Dj career. He started to Dj in several local clubs in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. He played many gigs in the hottest clubs in town in the 90s, under his own name and as alias DJ BamBam.
Next to DJ-ing, music became an even bigger part of his life. Marc started to invest in a large studio full of hardware gear and started to produce tracks. BamBam Studio was born. Marc produced a lot of dance tracks in de 90s for several labels. Until 2000 he focust his attention almost exclusive to his music productions an DJ-ing.
Although Marc gratefully used his alias DJ BamBam for many years, the year 2005 was the start of a new page in the musical biography of Marc van den Hurk.
Marc dropped the artist name DJ BamBam and took up his new alias, Kamansi was born. From 2005 Marc started Dj-ing and producing onder the name Kamansi. The first Kamansi production was a piano version from the Ronny V trance track 'what If' witch was singed by Robbins Entertainment.
These days, Marc is producing refreshing dance tracks and turns the wheels of steel into the styles 80s and 90s pop, dance and hiphop.
