At the dawn of our millennium in the foothills of a metropolis, Bakus began making music with the Los Angeles-based hip hop crew, Learning Curve.And that was about as pretentious as I could possibly write it. F'serious, I'm just a working class schlup with a passion for making shitty hip hop!I think I'm an OK writer, and have something to say, but I'm not conceited enough to believe any of you give a flying fuck about that.I'm getting the hang of "making" beats, if that's what you too call sampling 4-8 bars of some talented musicians song and chopping the crap out of it until it's virtually unrecognizable (or not!), and looping some loosely reprogrammed drums and noises until you get something that sounds different from any of these other cookie cutter boom clack hacks out here pretending they're DJ Premier.I do hope you like the music, because truthfully it's done out of love for the culture. God knows my life'd be a whole helluva a lot easier if i just admitted defeat! And if you made it this far, give your self a pat on the back, because you can fucking read beeyatch! (P.S. - in America there are 44 million adults who cannot!!!)
