VINTAGE DREAMS is an explicit tribute to the electronic sounds of the ‘70‘s and in particular to the numerous creations of Klaus Schulze, which have touched me permanently. BEYOND BORDERS is the first track that I composed for this album. The sounds and colours that are characterized in this track are inspired from "la sala de la ofrenda" in the "Museo Del Orode Santa Fé de Bogotà" in Columbia. The AYAHUASCA track, a track that is also derived from that experience, is voluntarily psychedelic, and nonetheless the title chosen for this album. A lysergic trip is almost always followed by a return to "reality", a return that I wished to portray as a soft caress played out by a sweet melodic sound on an electronic piano, DULCE VOLVER.
A trip, surreal or not, is an important element in ones life and that of an artist. Ayahuasca is the trip and at the same time the consequence of a trip, a trip towards the new world.
CHASING THE SUNSET is the last act of this trip.
