@Dana Barker2: Appreciate it, bro! Gotta keep it interesting for the listener! (as well as for my own sanity lol) Curve balls are my specialty. :P

@B.A.X.: I find a decent boost at around 12-16kHz will give definition to pretty much all of your strings. It takes a bit of playing around with depending on what else you have going on in your mix, but it will definitely add that extra sharpness and brilliance you need. The presets do a pretty good job as a starting point for your other parameters though. Mix and matching bow types is a tedious task, but a must. The release parameter is also pretty useful for that extra realistic touch. :)

@BakedCrispy: wow that's great man! I also use Miroslav too but yeah...I can't be nice like you :P hmm need to figure out more Env and EQ huh :) especially love the violin sound a lot, thanks for the nice tips hehe.

@B.A.X.: I use Reason 4 for the most part. I used the Miroslav Orchestral and Miroslav Solo Strings (which I used for the violin) refills. Awesome sounds too. Comes with all the natural bowing dynamics you could possibly need: Arco, full bow, staccato, glissando etc. It's all in the tweaks and eq after that ofc. :P Thanks for the kind words sir!

Thanks JCam! I will definitely think about that. I was kind of torn on whether or not to use a bunch of digital synth instruments. The thought definitely crossed my mind though! I will have to experiment with it!.

YEEEEEEEAAAAHHHHHHHH BAKER!!!! You should put in a nice low end bass line around the 3:24 area and let it ride till about 4:15. Or keep it going through the breakdown till 4:40.The mix sounds great, I'm just hearing some nice DnB bassline under certain parts. But it sounds dope regardless. Love it.
