Michael Slate, writer for Revolution newspaper and radio host on KPFK, talks with a father of three young Black men in Sanford, Florida on the BAsics Bus Tour. He says, "They're determined to do whatever they can to the young Black males to get them incarcerated, to get rid of them, to get them out of the area... whatever they can do. It's like free reign on them here, in this little city, in this area, it's definitely free reign."

The BAsics Bus Tour has been making its way through the South, from Atlanta to Sanford FL, spreading revolution, communism and Bob Avakian's work. BAsics is a book of quotations and essays from Bob Avakian – the revolutionary leader who has developed a new synthesis of communism. The volunteers on this Bus Tour are fighting to put that revolution on the map, to spread Avakian's work and to involve people in BA Everywhere... Imagine the Difference It Could Make, a mass campaign to raise big money to project Bob Avakian's vision and works throughout society.
