Bad Tango is the psychedelic tech-funk project of Cambridge based producer Will Railton.
Having studied many aspects of music technology for over 4 years, Will has learned a great deal about the ways of sonic wizardry. Armed with an arsenal of software and hardware, he has been crafting a wide range of electronic music for quite some time, but his passion for dance music and all things psychedelic has recently grown into a quest to find the key to the perfect squelch.

@fonologo: that can still work with breaks dude, if you wack a kick under the snare and low cut it to about 150 htz or above, it can sometimes give you a really punchy snare :D I know what you mean tho, it can be hard getting that punch just through additive EQ. might be worth trying some parallel compression, where you set up a bus, cut out all the high mids and compress the fuck out of it! try sending your kick and snare to that bus, can add real punch when done correctly :)

if i may give you one criticism tho, it'd be that the snare doesn't seem to have enough weight behind it, although that may be intentional? i generally like to have a bit of low end beef between 150 and around 350 htz, just to give it some punch :) kick is phat as hell tho dawg!
