Welcome to the musical home of Mar Kel the Badbelly.

Recently described by Tom Robinson of BBC 6Music and BBC Introducing as " A man to keep centre screen on our radar for 2013." I create what I like to call Modern Blues and Beats with stories from a father of Hip Hop and 2 children. My music often draws upon my life, my relationships, and the lives of the people around me and in doing so never shy’s away from subjects rarely heard in rap such as homosexuality, abuse and fatherhood. But it also has room for my dark and sometimes offensive sense of humour. Now based in Southampton after a recent move from Wales I'm a regular on the Open Mic scene often performing at The Hobbit and The Talking Heads. Looking to continuing building a base in 2013 with more performances, tracks and collaborations.
