About
Straight Punch to the Crotch wants you to believe in yourself.
All of your dreams really can come true.
No one can stop you.
We are Star Children.

Is that Hendrix?
Great atmosphere...
Just the right amount reverb. Nice.
Incredible melodic line.
Sounds like Perry Ferrell. This style suits your vocals so well. I love it.
The synth here is fantastic.
Really enjoying how these lyrics repeat.
Solid intro
Huge volume off the bass could be cool.
@Gene Osborn: Personally, I like it.
My baby is crying.
This is exciting.
Massive guitar line.
Maybe pull out one of the elements of this outro. I'd start with the vocals and see how that sounds. It's a nice answer to the first time this riff drops in.
So different sung by a male vocalist. How did you produce the beats at the end of this song?
Nice. Love the tone off the piano.
@Meredith Nnoka: it's the long notes off the harmonica that gets me. I'm glad Brooklyn has an ambassador from C'ville.
I really like the vocal effect. If anything I'd trim the decay on the reverb a little bit.
@woerpeltinger: I'm not sure. I want to do the same with The Village of St. George. If you upload and remove the original track I'm sure you'll loose the comments. I wonder if you could build a new "group" for a single song and include the subsequent drafts. This is something to consider for the throwdown.
I'm distracted by this tocking, clav thingy. Maybe mix it down or out... There's a lot of cool music going on around it.
Nice long note. I feel like this outro really ties the whole song together.
Tight arrangement on the tamborine.
I'm enjoying this solo.
I'm enjoying this non-solo.
I love this song. I have to say, the length of this song is perfect. I wouldn't change a thing.
Bam! I'm in love with this.
Wait for it.
Fantastic moment. Loving the call and response and the minimal arrangement. Definitely getting our ears ready for what's to come.
The EQ on your vocals = awesome.
Love the use of the ride symbol here. Great work on drums.
Classic opening. This make me feel so nostalgic.
This opening line was stuck in my head all day!
Wow. I would love to hear this with the vocals higher in the mix. Is that an easy fix? There's a great folk song buried in here. Truly.
If only you had a drummer! Solid guitar work.
oh yes.
Amazzzing
Look at Mark Mothersbough. The dynamic here is awesome.
My 11 Month old is dancing!
Did you write this hook?
Smooth ride. I like it.
