I've wanted to do a remix of the Church BGM from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for about two years now. Originally I planned on doing it on my Akai S1000 (I even have the floppy with some SNES samples on it!), but since then the big grey boy has bitten the dust. I just had the urge to do this the other day and couldn't wait for a new hardware sampler :)
How many Zelda sound effects can you spot?

@Caustic Castle: Yeah it has SCSI, but I think there's something wrong with the RAM. It's hard to tell what's going on because there are graphical glitches as well. But even if I did hook it all up I probably wouldn't use more than a few minutes worth of samples because I really like that limitation.

Aw man, doesn't the Akai S1000 have a scssi hook up on it? I just got rid of a scsi card that you probably could have use to interface with your computer for unlimited memory for sampling.
