Contemporary Classical Composers For composers who espouse the ideals of the Classical Tradition
Fukushima 50: In March of 2011, a devastating tsunami hit Japan. One of the results of this catastrophe was a long term nuclear crisis in Fukushima. A small group of nuclear engineers, later given the name The Fukushima 50, gave up their lives and suffered immensely, in order to restore safety to all of Japan. This is a very meditative piece that incorporates some Japanese elements. It is my gift in honor of those heroes.
I apologize for the noisy piano hammers in this recording, hopefully a better recording will come soon.

Very "contemplative" transparent work. Would work if programmed correctly. 7/10

@Michael Zaneski: Thank you! Never really thought of it like Vexations. Makes me think. Very interesting...

Very nice, like Harold Budd mixed with Satie's 'Vexations' ...and the last part of George Crumb's Makrokosmos..
