Ben recently obtained his Master of Music in composition from the University of Calgary. Ben is a musical theatre afficionado, chorister, pianist, and composer extraordinaire. He grew up in the island city of Geoje in Korea, but spent his school years in both Korea and the great states of New Jersey and Georgia. Of all places he went to Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA for college, which was the best decision he's ever made. It was there he started composing seriously. After a year of gigging around following graduation, he set out to the Great North to further study composition. He currently lives in Toronto.
