Music, to be meaningful, has to be composed with real meaning. Whether it`s electro, house, rap, metal, or jazz, it`s all too easy to hear when a song is devoid of any reason for existence. Beyond the fact that music can be healing, joyful, sad, angering, and have the ability to induce all sorts of psycho-emotional states, it can be used for the purpose of meshing an entire crowd of 10,000 people into the same mental state. How amazing.
