Born in the summer of 1984, Aya grew up watching the whole uk scene evolve from speedgarage/2step to grime to dubstep. Listening to the likes of Artful dodger, dj Zinc, Wiley and Dizzee Rascal, the whole U.K scene made a big impact on him. The ultimate breakthrough that eventually led to starting to produce music himself, was the upcoming sound of dubstep.

Now, a few years later, Aya has released multiple ep's and has been signed to major dubstep recordlabel Oi! Recordings since the beginning of 2011. Thanks to the signing to Oi! Recordings, Aya has performed at multiple well known venues as wel as festivals like Paradiso, Doornroosje, Atak, and Solar Festival.

Next to producing and performing as a dj he also co-owns, writes and performs sets at www.access.fm, a new concept that concludes an internet platform and online radiostation in one place devoted to the sounds of Dubstep, Garage/2step and Grime. In other words, Aya tries to contribute as much as he can to lift Dubstep to a higher level.
