Spheric latin jazz ballads with precious energy and flavours from the sun, sounding like a warm breeze of oceanic spheres ... these are a few of these little things ...
This is intrinsic music - based on deep friendship and kindred souls.

Oddrun Eikli (Oslo, Norway) - vocals and words - and Axel Weiss (Obernbreit, Germany) - guitars, composition - met in February 2010 on MySpaceMusic. Already after the first spontaneously improvised collaboration ("Precious Energy") it 
was clear that their musical spheres would harmonize exceptionally well. 
Despite the short time of their previous collaborations they got already some smaller success. Their second duo production ("Flavour from the Sun") climbed immediately after publication on No. 1 in the Norwegian jazz charts at MySpace - and a few weekes later "Precious Energy“ followed as their second number one in the Norwegian jazz list. The third title ("Oceanic Spheres" - a more complex one) will be offered here on SoundCloud on Oddrun's site in summer 2012.

The 4th tune was „Little Things“, which is in contrast to the previous titles a bit more quiet composition, featuring the masterful playing of Arne Hiorth (also from Oslo) on trumpet. Arne gives his skills as a professional musician also in form of his fine audio mixing and editing to this international duo.

In 2012 Oddrun and Axel extended their work in a new international quintet, too. The first song "Autumnal" is to hear in this player - accompanied by Arne Hiorth on trumpet, Cheryl Pyle (New York City / USA) on flute and Sean O'Bryan-Smith (Nashville/ USA) on bass (Sean also did the audio mastering here).

The newest production presents "Sun Dance" - a fresh bossa nova jazz tune with Oddrun and Axel in their preferred constellation - as an amalgamated duo in the spirit of "Flavour from the Sun". (Arne Hiorth did here the audio finishing again). And the next tune of this duo is already cooking - please stay tuned :)
