About

AX11 started as a VJ project in Berlin, Germany, in 2004 by musician and CG pro Tom Amm. Once in the EDM thing, production, DJing and -first of all- live electronic music performance were added to the set. Finally the whole live-act and production branch was separated from the original "AX11" project and named "Cosmodrome" to add more complexity to the projects increasingly confusing biography.
While AX11 has still been active as a VJ and DJ -with quite a few clubs and names on the list- the Cosmodrome project became focussed on strictly performance-oriented, non-clichee progressive psychedelic trance. "Playback is not an option" could be considered the projects credo. Cosmodromes tracks generally are composed from material created to be played live, recorded and carefully post produced. They generally evolve from the same "organic" process as non-electronic music does: improvised, (re)played, reviewed and altered in countless variations - never "glued together" from pre-fabricated material.
Everything that comes out of the "Cosmodrome" project can -and will in one or another form- "be done on stage".
