4 producers were given the stems to a song from E.P. (1) and asked to break down and reassemble it as they saw fit. What resulted was a vast array of musical styles. Glitchy post-dubstep, wonky ambience, lush indie rock, and bit-crushed beats all make an appearance on the release.

Patrick Lee is a Denver-based hip-hop producer and jazz musician. Over the past ten years, he has released over 25 albums of original compositions on his own Twelve Tusk imprint, incorporating field recordings, vintage kid's keyboards, scored horns and strings, and blown-out drums.

Patrick's new album, Passerine, which threads together 30 beats with 30 separate bird songs, is out June 5th on Bocumast Records.
