The first Portable Sunsets I ever heard was the live set at Mezzanine January 7. I immediately a) fell in love and b) went looking on Soundcloud for mixes including Portable Sunsets tracks, discovering that, whaddya know! there are none. This is my attempt to rectify the situation. Without further ado:

This is the first mix I've ever completed to any extent. Yessiree, it's SUPER amateur! Contextualising Portable Sunsets is inevitably going to be somewhat subjective. The idea here is, well, the somewhat Dubbier end of bouncy Tech House. It's supposed to be kinda high energy at the start and then bring you down gently into that long outro on California. Eh it could use some more work, but, well at any rate, here's the effort so far. This is a celebration of the artists included, all of whom are currently doing brilliant work, much of which can be found on Soundcloud. Think of it as a sampler, a paperless offering - if I turn just one person onto one track, one artist, one style, then my work will not have been in vain.
