Avon Cottage are a band from London via Wiltshire. They plug guitars straight into their amplifiers and play rock songs about professional singles, having a laugh, repeatedly catching the train from the suburbs and absent friends. They count Sonic Youth, Pixies, Captain Beefheart, Bob Dylan, Weezer, Slint and The Velvet Underground as influences.
