About
I’m an ex-Royal Air Force Officer turned dance music producer based near London, England. My main influences include BT, Way Out West, Hybrid, and The Crystal Method.
I’ve been producing since July 2007 and in that time I’ve been lucky enough to have had chart success in the US, UK and worldwide (top 20 US Billboard Dance, top 10 UK Music Week Dance and number 1 World DMC Trance) with both my original material and remix work. Although my early work is not as polished as my current material, I’m still proud of it.
My tracks have been supported by a plethora of ‘Super DJs’, including Armin Van Buuren (ASOT), Paul Oakenfold (extensive radio and club support), Agnelli & Nelson (Mercury & Solace - ‘Big Tune of the Week’), SolarStone (Jacinta's Voyage - 'Big Tune of the Week'), Annie Nightingale (BBC Radio 1), Markus Schulz, Kenneth Thomas, Menno De Jong, Mr Sam, Manuel Le Saux, Robert Vadney, Gareth Wyn, Matt Darey, Ronski Speed, Cosmic Gate, and D.O.N.S. My tracks have received radio play on various FM stations across the UK (including BBC Radio One), the US, and across Europe from Russia to Greece. My first single ‘Open Up’ ft. Alexandra Greene debuted at No. 1 in the DMC World Trance Chart, and was also the highest chart breaker in the Music Week Magazine Top 200, peaking at number 10.
I’ve produced and officially remixed a number of artists from around the world, in a variety of genres, including BT (for his Grammy nominated album 'These Hopeful Machines'), Kirsty Hawkshaw, Cybersutra, Kinky Roland, Tiff Lacey, Molly Bancroft, Andrea Britton, Anji Bee, Marcia Juell, Tom Noize, Amoebe Assassin, Vicky Fee, Alexandra Greene and Sylvia Tosun.
I’ve tracks signed to labels including Perfecto, Thrive Records, solarSwarm, Loverush Digital, KULT Records, Bonzai Music, System Recordings and Sea To Sun Recordings.
I like to think I am a versatile producer, and I enjoy a wide range of genres, although I tend to concentrate mainly on trance, breaks and leftfield.
I’m currently producing an EP with Tiff Lacey of leftfield electronica with ‘danceable beats’ as well as collaborating with Laurent Veronnez (aka Airwave) on a track for his forthcoming album. I have a number of singles and remixes on the go, 4 of which are currently signed, most of them are collaborations with vocalists including the likes of Kirsty Hawkshaw, Coldcut rapper Juice Aleem and Marcia Juell.
I’m in the process of setting myself up to play live (not DJ!) over the next few months. For those of you who are interested, I mix and arrange in Ableton Live 8, master in Soundforge 9, and my main synths are Sylenth and Omnisphere. Reason provides most of my drums.
Avatar One (September 2010)

@Jackass Penguin: Hey mate, annoyingly I can't remember. It's either the bass or the plucks, I have a feeling it's the plucks though...
@Traxx Project: Hi mate. This was all done in Studio One 2, the strings are Omnisphere (the track is mainly Omnisphere and Reaktor (Razor and Skanner)). I do use Reason quite extensively though, but not in this track :)
Good stuff!
Thanks for supporting 'Charity' Matt! :)
Good stuff!
Good work :) Sounds like you managed to get those plucks right!
@Slimmie: Thanks Slimmie! I'm in the process of label hunting for this track at the moment, hopefully it won't take too long! :)
@Gizella: Thank you :)
good stuff! :)
Loving the composition/arrangement of this remix. The only thing I would pick up on production-wise is that the kick drum almost disappears in places (might be a creative choice though?) and I think the vocals could do with being pulled in a little volume wise - they're also very bright. Just my opinion. Definitely one of the best remixes of this track I've heard though!
excellent job!! :)
This should definitely win.
@tatsama: Thank you :)

Just brilliant. What reverb are you using on the vocals?
