Avanic is a bulgarian singer-songwriter, musician and sound designer. His professional engagement with music began over a decade ago. 7 years ago Avanic started songwriting both for himself as well as for other artists.
At the age of 8, he took the first steps in the music, learning the piano. Few years later he started learning guitar by himself, followed by the Bulgarian folk instrument Gaida.
Avanic has taken part in many national and international competitions, receiving a lot prizes, including 1st Place and Audience Award from the Bulgarian TV-competition "Hit Minus One" in 2006, a gold medal from the international festival "Orpheus in Italy" in Rimini in 2007, Best Young Performer award at the Bulgarian festival "Sea and Memories" in 2008, First Place Duets and Second Place Performers at the national competition "Tracian Lyre" in 2009 and First Place in the international vocal art competition "Little Sea Stars" in 2009. Avanic was also nominated for the "Varna" award for Great Achievements in Musical Arts.
Avanic wrote his first song,"Is there a way", at the age of 15 and with it he won Third Prize in the international pop-rock competition "Musical crossroad" in 2007 in the city of Zaichar, Serbia. In October 2008 he performed with "The Big Band" of the Bulgarian National Radio.
April 2009 brought a new song called "So Close to You", written, composed and performed by Avanic. The song was one of the 12 songs nominated in the Spring Radio Competition for Pop and Rock music of the Bulgarian National Radio "Golden Spring". In July 2009 Avanic wrote the music and created the arrangement of a song following an International European Project - "Anti-Media".
Avanic has received the "Talent" prize three times - in the years 2007, 2008 and 2010. In 2010 he was included in "Bulgaria's Successful Children for 2009" in the category "Pop, Art and Composing", a book of the "Dimitar Berbatov" foundation.
