The 3rd installment of our massive album series features another show stopping fusion of Broken beat, late night Techno and lo-slung Electro funk to rock the floors of the underground clubs and summer festivals. AUX:TECH:02.3 features another massive lineup of label favourites and a rocking debut from a talented newcomer.
1st up is Breaks legend Beta who delivers a chunky slice of peak time, Tech-Funk. Proving his worth as a producer at the top of his game. With recent chart topping releases on Ayra, AUX and Sound Of Habib this guy is really on top form and shows no signs of slowing down.
US Electro whizz kid Seth Orin, delivers another grinding slice of futuristic Electro Funk, fusing Techno, Electro and House in his tradmark, lo-down style. Seth is keeping up the pressure in his native Colorado where he continues to DJ alongside some of the biggest names in dance music.
Another Stalwart of the AUX label Dax J, once again delivers a late night Techno roller, with a pounding groove and twisted atmospherics. With recent releases on Naked Lunch and new London label: Eartoground, Dax’s profile continues to rise as one of the most promising young Techno producers in the UK, with support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Jon Rundell and Umek.
Russ ‘Rcaine’ Taylor has been a major player in the UK Tech-Funk scene for many years, promoting several party brands up and down the country including his latest party venture ‘Vibrate’ in collaboration with Meat Katie. Russ polishes off the EP with his debut release on AUX and his 1st ever official release. Also a talented DJ, Russ’s deep Techno-Funk proves that he’s more than capable of handling hmself in the studio and will definitely be someone to watch out for over the next year with future releases.
