Autumn Drones is a solo project of Tim Stoneberg with occasional
collaborators encompassing the audio and visual realms. The musical
pieces take influence from Berlin School and IDM, with heavy use of
both modular and vintage synthesizers. Pieces range widely from dense
ambient soundscapes riddled with percussive blips and cascading
arpeggiations, to erratic noise and spattering drum loops. The video
portions of material are created via processing footage through
obsolete video equipment, oscilloscopes, and various video synthesis
methods.
