Rye is a small town on the south east coast of England. Having been an important member of the Medieval Cinque Ports Confederation, Rye is full of history and culture. During the summer, Rye becomes a booming tourist town with visitors from all over the world.

This library of sound recordings captures Rye from all of its angles during this peak time; walking around the ancient cobbled streets of the old town, hunting for bargains in the busy weekly market or along the busy high street, people heading down to The Strand for a meal and a drink. If you have time, visit the busy harbour or its nearby nature reserve for a spot of wildlife watching.

Audious Sound Design is dedicated to producing high quality sound recordings. This Library contains 5.33gb in 67 files lasting over 2.5hours. All the sound files are 24bit 96kHz Stereo .wav files, descriptively catalogued and with meta-data. These recordings were made using Rode NT-4 microphone, Fostex FR2-LE recording system, Sony Sound Forge 10 and Digi-Design Pro-Tools.
