This improvised track was born out of Kubrick and meditating too long on 2001:A Space Odyssey's layers of meaning. The Great Alchemical Work moves to the silver screen.

i really like the organization of the track, the way it becomes strong and then fade to quiet and calm for getting again into the noise

@HarrisonTate: Thanks for your appreciation Harrison. Yes... the guitar is the subject of the story and was not meant to be buried but is fighting to stay on top and not be smothered by the world around it. Dealing with its own inner discordance as it relates to the hell around it. The guitar is us.

great for a film track. Very Moody. I like the guitar forward in the mix. There is an aural place for everything. Doesn't all have to be shrouded in reverb and echo effects. But they are nice to use too!

Deep, dark and deliciously weighty. Thanks for the contribution to Ambient Journeys

not crazy about the fade ending. could have gone for more melodic variation in the lead guitar. all in all good track. does a good job creating it's atmosphere. very large sounding. I like that. Thank you for submitting to our group. :)

@tom-rhys-music: New to me too but fitting. No plans for vocals. I'm using the music to give the feeling. Vocals/lyrics would make everything too obvious. As with Space Odyssey 2001 there are few speaking parts, the movie, like this track, is carried by the images, impressions and feelings. Some things are better experienced without words. That is what I have tried to do here. I hope you get the sense of a fetal perspective, a world where there are no words. Only a sense or impression of the world outside the womb and always the mothers heartbeat.

Space rock is a brand new genre to me, but it's awesome. great production, too. Are there any plans to put vox on this track?

@In Mobile: Yes you felt it, something impending. Kubrick inspired.

I like the mood coming from this... The feeling of expectation and weight
