My remix for Boogie Drama will be coming out shortly on vinyl followed by digital download on Chicago based Real Estate Records. My initial inspiration for this came from the Grace Jones vocals samples. I wrote the drums on my 707 combined with the Drumazon, Nepheton, Nithonat and Battery 3 plug ins. The bass line came after that, in two parts, from the ABL2 and Trilogy plugs. The other layers followed as a pseudo arrangement naturally took place from a first generation MicroKorg, a Jupiter 8, the ARP Odyssey and the Sylenth1 and LoungLizard virtual instruments. There is a directness to this remix that I deeply enjoy.
