A member in two different hip hop crews in the DC metropolitan area: DPA and Subwoofer Science.

DPA features my cousin, GreyMatter, and myself. For the last several years, GreyMatter's been handling most of the production which is very edgy and experimental. We've been a group for more than 10 years now but have slowly put material together. Back in the late 90's, we put together a tape of basement material called "Tha Said". Around '01-02, we put out a CD of more lo-fi recorded material called "Lost Chronicles vol. 1". Our plan was to drop an album called "Stellar Inkblots" in the next few years but I moved to Atlanta with my family which slowed things down a little. While in Atlanta, I put together "tha(UN)ESSENTIAL EP", a collection of solo recordings as well as some by DPA, some tracks that were featured on other artists projects, snippets of material that I was working on at the time and a few beats that I had done.

Subwoofer Science is another group formed in 2008 featuring another cousin of mine (Boom88), one of my friends, Ryan Lucas and myself. All 3 of us are aspiring producers so we normally produce our own material within the group. We've had sessions to create and select beats for projects as well as battles within the group to challenge each other to develop our sound more. Aside from our gorup material, we also have some collaborative projects in the works with producers we've met online. The great thing is; all of our material, both in DPA and Subwoofer Science, is clean and positive. No profanity. No stereotypical gender banter and materialism. We push the envelope a little.
