About
A massive shoutout to all DnB heads and some of my biggest influences from past to present would have to be Tech Itch, Dylan, Limewax, Oaysis, Randall, Dillinja, Lemon D, Andy C (Origin unknown era), Goldie, Slipmatt, Grooverider, Fabio, Bukem, Bassline Smith, Noisa, Ellis D, Sy, Snoop, Ice T, Ice Cube, Dr Dre, Cypress Hill, Easy E, Redman, Sepultura, Slayer, Megadeth, GnR, Whitesnake, RHCP, Metallica, Stone Temple Pilots, etc............ Coming from metal roots (I played and sang in metal bands), I got into Jungle in about 1992. Rap/hip hop music is what changed me from a metaller/rocker into liking sick riddums with belting subs. I progressed into jungle in '92 when jungle and hardcore sounded almost the same, it was the breaks that set jungle apart for me and I was influenced bigtime and set about writing my own tunes. I dj, I have 1210 mk2's, I started seriously producing in 1998, when I started a mission of gathering and recording samples. I started working on my own breaks and one shots, processing heavily and matching sounds up together. I have built up a massive selection! I have both hardware and software, although I now use mainly software. The only hardware I still use is my Access Virus KC and S3000CD sampler. Drum n bass is the one for me, I have ventured into drumstep and dubstep but I just love breaks and bass. I still love the amen, I have processed it and layered it to sound heavy, although I am trying to take a new direction and create my own unique breaks. Never stop writing tunes, it is both mellow and satisfying. After losing my dad to cancer in November 2010 I had a very dark few months, but things are looking up now and I have a little boy and am happy again/writing tunes. Word
